"God Is Love" (1 John 4:8)

God created this church family for the purpose of love. For the Bible says, "God is love" (1 John 4:8) and "God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). Furthermore, Jesus loved us so that he was willing to suffer and die on a cross on a hill called Calvary for our sins. He who knew no sin took on the sins of the whole world.

Love is at the heart of ChristChurch and Ministries. The Apostle Paul tells us, "Love suffers long and is kind, it envies not, vaunted not itself and is not puffed up; and between faith, hope and love, the greatest of these is love." (1 Corinthians 13:4; 13). God has called ChristChurch and Ministries to be "a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that we should shew forth the praises of him who hath called us out of darkness into his marvelous light." (1 Peter 2:9). We are called to show Christ’s love in the world.

As we grow, we want to do things that will please and honor Christ and glorify God. Our primary focus will always be to honor Christ and glorify God. In keeping Christ first, we will never fail. For Jesus said, "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and his all these things shall be added unto you." (Matthew 6:33).
